Additions to the February Schedule

We've added a few extra classes to February and early March. The remainder of the schedule is listed in the previous post. Have a great week enjoying as much sunshine as you can!!

Quilting Classes Beginner 9-Patch--New Dates! $ 65 plus supplies. 4 sessions, Tuesday, February 15, March 8, 15 and 29, 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. This class teaches the basics of machine piecing. Learn how to select colors, strip cut, chain piece, and add mitered borders. You'll learn lots and end up with a beautiful 9-patch quilt. Limit 4 Serendipity Sampler $25 per month plus supplies for 5 months. Class meets the 4th Thursday of each month beginning February 24, 6 p.m. Improve your hand applique and piecing skills while you make this gorgeous Kim Diehl design. Kits available! Click here to see Kathleen's quilt. Hop to It Hand Applique Block of the Month Option 1: 3rd Friday of each month for 12 months, 2:00 p.m. $17.50 per month plus supplies. Begins Saturday, February 18. Option 2: 4th Saturday of each month for 6 months, $25 per month plus supplies. Begins February 26. Whether you choose option1 and make one block per month or be adventurous and make 2 blocks per month with option 2, you are sure to learn lots (and finish!) in one of Kathleen's excellent classes. Thursday, February 17 and March 10, 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. In this class you will learn hand appliqué, a new way to piece half square triangles and much more to make a cute (really cute) quilt. Stop by the shop and see the quilt. Coming in March!! T-shirt Quilt $45 plus supplies. 1 session. Saturday, March 5, 9:00 a.m. - noon. Come learn the basics to design your own t-shirt quilt! We will show you how to stabilize your t-shirts and then sew them into a wonderful pattern that you will draft! This is not a beginner class; you will need to know how to rotary cut and piece. This will be great way to get started and be finished by graduation!!!

Needle Punch for Spring!

Spring Blossoms 2 sessions, Saturday, February 26 and March 5, 9:30a.m. - 11:30 a.m. $43 includes kit.
