Knitting Workshop

This is the "clinic" for all your knitting emergencies! Get help on your project or pick a new technique to learn. For those who already know the basics.
You must call to register for workshop each week, space is limited.
| Quilting Classes Beginner Hand Appliqué $55 plus supplies. Two sessions Wednesday, March 28 & April 11; 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. In this class you will learn the freezer paper technique, perfect circles, stars, points - all the basics for a beautiful hand appliqué wall hanging. Visit the shop to see the sample. Limit 4.
Beginner Wool Appliqué 1 session. $25 includes sunflower box kit. Friday, March 23, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. OR Wednesday, March 28, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Come learn how to appliqué with wool in this technique class. Wool applique' is lots of fun. This sweet little box will be a nice addition to your sewing basket or a gift! Limit 6.
Folk Art Album Wool Appliqué begins in March. Stop by the shop and see the beautiful sample. This class will meet once a month for six months. Classes with meet the third Monday from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. New! Genesis 8:22 March 14, April 12, May 10, and June 7, 6-8 p.m. Or Sunday March 18, April 15, May 20, and June 10, 2-4 p.m.
$15 per month plus supplies.
Meets once a month for four months. Each month you'll learn lots of different techniques and enjoy being part of a fun group of quilters!

Smocking is fun! Learn the stitches to make garments better than the ones you see in the stores. You will be ready to smock most geometric designs after completing this sampler. Bring small scissors.

Embroidery Workshop Full--let us know if you'd be interested in attending a daytime embroidery workshop. $15 per session plus supplies
Meets monthly: Monday, March 26, 6:00-8:30 p.m.
Join us on the fourth Monday of each month for stitching time and fellowship! Learn how to prepare a project for embroidery or get help with embroidery you are already working on. Each month Martha will teach you a new embroidery technique or tip to make your stitching more enjoyable. Come see what everyone is making. We are beginning a new Block of the Month in February but you can still join the fun. Call ahead to reserve a kit!
