Knitting Classes


Frontier Blues Sweater $45 plus supplies for 4 sessions. Monday, November 15, 22, 29, and December 6, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Come knit this beautiful sweater embellished with gorgeous ribbon. This will be a sweater you can tailor to your style! Stop by the shop and see the sample. You must be able to knit , purl, increase and decrease.

Knitting Mittens using the Magic Loop $35 plus supplies for 2 sessions. Thursday, November, 11 and 18, 6:00-8:30 p.m.

Another great project to take along! In this class you will learn to knit mittens using a long circular needle. You must know how to cast on, knit, purl and rib. Great Christmas gifts!

Beaded Scarf $35 plus supplies for 2 sessions. Wednesday, November 10 and December 1, 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Come see this beautiful scarf knitted with hand- dyed yarn and beads! You will lean how to knit with beads without using those itty-bitty needles. This is a great gift project or something fun to make for your self!

Knitting Workshop

$10 for 1 session or $30 for 4 sessions;

This is the "clinic" for all your knitting emergencies! Get help on your project or pick a new technique to learn. For those who already know the basics.

Crochet Classes

Beginning Crochet $45 plus supplies. 4 sessions, Tuesday, November 16, 23, 30 and December 7, 6-8 p.m.

Learn the basics of crochet. Crochet a sampler with different stitches. Learn to read a pattern. Your will be ready to crochet a simple project afyer this class. Limit 4.


Needle Punch Classes

Snowman or Santa Claus Ornament $20 plus kit and tools/supplies. One session, Saturday, November 20, 9:30-11:30 a.m. OR Thursday, December 2, 7-9 p.m.

Join Jennifer and learn to needle punch while making this cute snowman or Santa Claus. You choose!

Needle Felt Classes

Sheep Ornament $20 plus kit and tools/supplies. One session, Saturday, December 4, 9:30-11:30 a.m. OR Wednesday, December 8, 7-9 p.m. (Kit makes 2 sheep)

A cute addition to your Christmas tree or leave him out year 'round! This is a fun project!


Christmas Ball Ornament $20 plus kit and tools/supplies. One session, Saturday, December 11, 9:30- 11:30 a.m.

Christmas Ornament $25 includes kit. 2 sessions. Wednesday, November 4 and 11, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.(4th) and 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. (11th)
This class is a must!! Come and learn to make these beautiful felted Christmas Ornaments. They are a wonderful addition to your tree and they make great gifts. You will learn to needle felt and wet felt while making this quick, fun project.

Come learn how to appliqué with wool in this technique class. It’s lots of fun and you’ll pick up lots of pointers and practice on a sample needlecase. Limit 6.

Quilting Classes
Fat Quarter Bag $35 plus supplies. 1 session. Thursday, November 12, 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Just in time for Christmas gifts! A great bag for carrying everything. If you have your 6 fat quarters cut before class you’ll go home with a finished bag. We promise! Limit 4.

Quilting Bee $20 per session: Thursday, November 19, 6:00-8:30 p.m.
Kathleen will spend the first 30 minutes on a "skill builder" and then you can work on any project you like. Sign up early, as the class is limited to 6 people.
Sewing machines are welcome!

Beginner Appliqué $50 includes a pre-washed kit. 2 sessions: Tuesday, November 24 and December 8, 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.
This is the class for serious appliqué. Learn the freezer paper technique for the first in Kathleen’s series of appliqué blocks. Learn how to make bias stems, needleturned dragonfly bodies, and perfect points. Come see the sample at the shop. Limit 4

Beginner 9-Patch　$ 60 plus supplies. 4 sessions, Monday, November 9, 16, 23 and 30, 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.
This class teaches the basics of machine piecing.　 Learn how to select colors, strip cut, chain　piece, and add mitered borders.　 You'll learn lots and end up with a beautiful 9-patch quilt.　 Limit 4.

Smocking and Embroidery
New! Christmas Redwork $28 plus kit. 1 session, Saturday, November 14, 1:30 – 4:00 p.m. OR Thursday, November 19, 6:00-8:30 p.m.
Learn the stitches of traditional redwork while making a beautiful embroidered hand towel or kitchen towel. This is a great beginning embroidery class.

Socks….. Getting Ready for Christmas!
Knitting Socks using the Magic Loop Cuff down $40 plus supplies. 3 sessions, Saturday, November 7, 14 and 21, 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. OR Monday, November 2, 16, and 30, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Sock knitting is the perfect take-along project! In this class you will learn to knit socks from the cuff down using a long circular needle. This class will have you going so you can start on Christmas gifts! You must know how to cast on, knit, purl, and rib.

Smocking, Embroidery and Quilting Classes for October

Smocking and Embroidery

Beginning Smocking $45 plus supplies for 2 sessions, Thursday, October 1 and 8, 6:00-8:30 p.m.

Smocking is fun! Learn the stitches to make garments better than the ones you see in the stores. You will be ready to smock most geometric designs after completing this sampler. Bring small scissors.

Bishop Dress 4 sessions, $50 plus supplies. Monday, October 12, 19, November 2, and 9, 6-8:30 p.m.

Make a bishop dress from start to finish even if you've never sewn before! If you are an experienced seamstress, there will be lots of new techniques to learn. This is a great first smocking project. Supply list provided when you register.

Yoke Dress or Bubble 4 sessions, $50 plus supplies; Thursday, October 22, 29, November 5 and 12, 6-8:30 p.m.

A yoke-style dress, romper, or bubble can be make for special occasions or for play. Learn all the techniques to make a beautiful garment. For advanced beginners. Supply list provided when you register.

New! Lace Collar 1 session, $25 plus supplies; Thursday, October 15, 6-8:30 p.m.

Learn the techniques to make the beautiful lace collar pictured on the cover of Australian Smocking issue #87!

Beginning Embroidery $30 includes kit. Sunday, October 4, 2-4:30 p.m.

Come learn the basics of embroidery while stitching a cute snowman in redwork or bluework . Your pattern, fabric, and needles are included. Bring small scissors to cut threads.

Quilting Classes

New! Country Sunshine Block of the Month $25 per session for 5 sessions plus supplies

Join Kathleen as she shows you how to applique this beautiful quilt. She will help you "custom size" your piece and share her tips for successful applique and piecing over this five month class. This is an intermediate applique class. Kits are available. Come see the custom quilted sample in the shop. Class will meet the third Friday evening of each month from 6-8 p.m. or the fourth Monday from 1-3 p.m. Limit 6 students per class.

Quilting Bee $20 per session: Thursday, October 15, 6-8:30 p.m. or Friday, October 16 9:30 a.m.-noon.
