Welcome!

Welcome to our new blog! Shirley and I hope you'll come visit here often to keep up with events at the shop. We will share pictures of your projects and class samples to keep everyone inspired.

Special thanks go to Gina for helping us to get this started!

As we begin our 14th year in business, we'd like to thank Ruth for teaching us how to start a business, Ann Hall for getting us organized, and Jandell and Susann for keeping us organized and on task and taking such good care of our customers. Our teachers are the very best at teaching you new techniques and keeping your creative juices flowing. We couldn't do it without our wonderful team!

We're gearing up for new fall classes, some starting next week. Pictures of class projects are on flickr. Sign up for classes by calling the shop at 336-765-9099.

Come by and see our work in progress: our new decor! Things are still a little bit disorganized, but once we get it all back together, it will be great!

Lost in the fabric and yarn,
Martha and Shirley

  2. Your yarn shop is where I purchased my first skeins of sock yarn. I've been knitting socks for 14 years and still love the journey. Happy blogging!

  4. OH I am so glad you ladies have started a blog! What a fun way to stay connected and see everyone's work!! Congratulations on 14 years. I ran into a complete stranger in Costco on Sunday, she was admiring Rachel's Sunday dress. She said she had just been taking a beginning smocking class. I said she would never regret walking into Knit One Smock Too! While I have only been popping in four 5 1/2 years now, it always feels like home! Much love!!
