New classes

Two new classes are starting soon!
Jennifer's Crocheted Simplicity Shawl class will meet on Monday, February 22 and March 8 from 6-8 p.m. You may click on this to connect to Jennifer's beautiful blog posting of this shawl. Make sure to check out the rest of her blog--it is very inspiring!

I am teaching my Flight of Fancy quilt class starting Thursday, February 18 and 25 from 6-8:30 p.m. Yes, I know that's tomorrow! I have been stitching like crazy for the last few weeks to get it finished and tonight Kathleen is helping me with the borders! This is not the first quilt I have started, but it is the first quilt that I have ever finished!! I'll take a picture as soon as those borders are on so you can see it, but until then, the original is posted here. I have really loved making this quilt and I would love to have you join me for this class. The embroidery is detailed, but uses very easy stitches and I have learned lots of tips and techniques as I stitched mine that I will be sharing with you!

Call or come by the shop to register for either of these classes. The number is 336-765-9099. Both the shawl and quilt are hanging there so you can see them "in real life"!

I'll post some of our knitting and quilting classes tomorrow. Stay tuned!!

  1. Hi Martha. So glad your embroidery group is enjoying stitching the Jacobean Leaves - palestrina is one of my favourite stitches and I highly recommend it! I've started a flickr group called Kelly Fletcher Designs and it would be great if you and your fellow stitchers posted photos of your leaves there. I did search for your group, but no luck... Kelly
