New classes

Two new classes are starting soon!
Jennifer's Crocheted Simplicity Shawl class will meet on Monday, February 22 and March 8 from 6-8 p.m. You may click on this to connect to Jennifer's beautiful blog posting of this shawl. Make sure to check out the rest of her blog--it is very inspiring!

I am teaching my Flight of Fancy quilt class starting Thursday, February 18 and 25 from 6-8:30 p.m. Yes, I know that's tomorrow! I have been stitching like crazy for the last few weeks to get it finished and tonight Kathleen is helping me with the borders! This is not the first quilt I have started, but it is the first quilt that I have ever finished!! I'll take a picture as soon as those borders are on so you can see it, but until then, the original is posted here. I have really loved making this quilt and I would love to have you join me for this class. The embroidery is detailed, but uses very easy stitches and I have learned lots of tips and techniques as I stitched mine that I will be sharing with you!

Call or come by the shop to register for either of these classes. The number is 336-765-9099. Both the shawl and quilt are hanging there so you can see them "in real life"!

I'll post some of our knitting and quilting classes tomorrow. Stay tuned!!

Mending a sweater and sewing on scout badges

Kitchener stitching the second sock of a pair!!!

Making buttonholes for these two beauties!

And LOTS of pleating! So I can get to the fun part:

Knitting and stitching on my two current projects. Hope you get to work on your favorite things today too!
